As a true modern culinary champion and creator of the new Yucatan cuisine, Roberto Solis tempts everyone to be open to an experience with infinite possibilities offered by the Mayan land fruits. A delicious blend of local specialties, with locally-sourced fresh product, evoking the authentic taste of home of Grandma’s kitchen. The restaurant Ser Esencia with the “anthill”, as Sandra will baptize that group who work tirelessly and with much love, directed by chef Andrés Fernández and A/B manager Edgar Galicia has participated in the emblematic culinary festival held in the island of Holbox, the gastronomic exhibition Eat, Love and Contemplate, where the best restaurants on the island and other guests participate. Ser Casasandra won the award for excellence in the four catagories. Ser Esencia, inaugurated on December 24, 2004 was recommended by The New York Times as one of the best places to eat in Holbox.

Right next to the outdoor pool with its sun loungers, palm trees and birds, you can enjoy drinks and delicious lunch at the Maíz Bar. Facing the sea is our Mojito`s Beach Club, where you can taste the best cocktails on the island. Its corrugated roof, its hanging ropes and hammocks invite you to rest.
